New Orleans Newborn Photographer: Lifestyle Session

Lifestyle newborn sessions are one of my favorite things to photograph. I love getting to photograph families in their homes and document a little piece of their history. The weekend of Mother’s Day, I stopped over at Jen and Matt’s New Orleans home for a lifestyle newborn session with their little one. I photographed their family in his nursery as well as their beautiful backyard with the most perfect greenery as a backdrop! They also had an incredible living room with vibrantly colored walls, a beautiful vintage piano, and guitars, so we of course took a family portrait there as well. Tree of Life Wedding Ceremony and French Quarter New Orleans Wedding Photos

McKenzie and Kaeli decided to have a New Orleans elopement. I was THRILLED when they told me last minute they had decided to have their wedding ceremony at the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is one of my favorite places in New Orleans and is the most beautiful backdrop. With three of their closest friends with them, they read their own vows, and officially became each others wives. I took some portraits of them before heading to the Garden District, where I had suggested taking photos at a spot on Magazine Street that I love. We ended the evening taking photos in the French Quarter, before they headed to dinner at The Court of Two Sisters. So grateful to them both for trusting me to be their photographer on this special day! French Quarter New Orleans photoshoot: Alyssa + Dallon

I met Alyssa and Dallon back in February for their French Quarter photo session! We met near the St Phillip Hotel where we were able to get some photos inside their French Quarter courtyard! Of course we took advantage of gorgeous colorful backdrops in the surrounding areas before heading to Jackson Square for some photos with the St Louis Cathedral in the background.

New Orleans Family Photos at the Tree of Life in Audubon Park

I got to go back to my favorite spot with the Barrios family for their New Orleans family photos!  It was expected to storm but luckily the rain held out and I photographed their family at the Tree of Life in Audubon Park in New Orleans. Eventually we made our way over to the Newman Bandstand and the row of beautiful Oak trees to finish the shoot!
